Dr.
Francke has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon since 1977, obtaining
his board certification from the American Board of Orthopedic
Surgery in 1981. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati
in 1969. He served his Internship and Surgical Residency at Dartmouth
Medical School in 1970 and 1971 and served in the U.S. Air Force
as Flight Surgeon from 1971 to 1974. He served his Orthopedic
Residency at the Albany Medical Center Hospital from 1974 to 1977.
He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons
in 1984.
Dr. Franckes medical society memberships include: American
Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons,
Belknap County Medical Society, New Hampshire Medical Society
and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr.
Francke is a general orthopedist whose special interests include
steamboats, sailing and the community restoration of the Rowe
House in Gilford. His relaxed attitude eases patients concerns
about their orthopedic issues.
